My Typical Day
I’m usually either out in field collecting data, or in the office working on my laptop.
What's the best part of your current job?
Asking interesting questions and trying to find out how to help endangered species
What's the best thing you've ever done in your career?
I got to go to the Amazon rainforest to study birds
What advice would you give someone who wants to be in the same career as you?
Work hard, ask questions, and don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t do it
What do you see as your next step in your career?
I’d like to work in Canada or New Zealand. Whatever I do, I want to keep doing research

Ecologist, nature reserve manager, data analyst, wildlife rehabilitation, lab technician
What don't you like about your current job?
I don’t get to go outside enough
