Hello! Â I am 27 years old and live near Birmingham with my partner. Â I am from Scotland originally but moved down to England for work.
We have a crazy cat called Flo and would love to get a dog. Â Flo’s latest hobby is tapping me on the face with her paw late at night!
My favourite food is Spaghetti Bolognaise and my favourite TV programmes are Friends and Nashville.
I do a little bit of running but spend most of my time watching films or seeing family and friends.

I work mostly with parts that will be fitted to an engine before it goes into the car. Â I check that the parts will all fit together and then write the instructions on how they should be fitted. Â I look at tooling and work out if the parts need to be fitted in a special order.
In the beginning of a project we look at everything on a computer. Â Once the engineers are happy with the design, we begin to launch the car. Â This means that we start to build the cars properly and check that everything is ok. Â This is when work gets very busy.
-
My Typical Day:
My usually day involves talking to Engineers about Engine parts.

During the day I will be looking at lots of different parts on my computer.  I will be checking that there aren’t any problems and, if there are, speaking to Engineers.  I will spend the rest of the day writing instructions to fit these parts.  This means a list of process steps (instructions), the parts that will be needed and any tools.  When we go to launch, these instructions (processes) are printed and given to the people that will be building the cars.
In my team, we each look after a different area of the car.  I look after Engine parts but there are lots of other areas like Electrical harnesses and the nice trim parts which go inside and outside the car.
