I live with my partner in the South West, he works at Dominos so there is also cheap access to pizza in our house 😀  Sadly we still have no dog so I must constantly visit my mums adorable Dalmatian. I spend about 2 hours every day during term commuting to university and home so I don’t get to be a normal student with all the club activities.

When I was an apprentice in a manufacturing company where I was programming robots to make metal components for jet engines and turbine energy engines. I worked about 40 hours a week and sometimes did overtime to help resolve some technical problems with the robotic arms or to help out in some of the other departments on site on the lead up to shipping week.

My Typical Day:
Usually between 6 and 10 hours depending on the time of month and what had broken down

My typical day started at 8am on my desk computer updating my daily charts with the scrap data from the day before or chipping away at a programming project that I was completing on excel.
When on the shop floor I was usually found working with a small team to investigate damaged product and trying to deduce whether or not it was caused by human error or a machine malfunction. If there was a project involving a new program on one of the robots or there was a breakdown I could be in the cell for hours or days at a time muttering to myself with my notepad scribbling away ideas and rough plans whilst simultaneously worsening the cramp developing in my elbow (it was worth it if I managed to get the stupid robot to work correctly).
