Nothing serious yet, but I provide design ideas for other people to use in their own projects. Inventing a smart robot from scratch is quite a big project, that’s one of the reasons we don’t see them everywhere yet 🙂

With a colleague I invented the way that laboratory reports are sent to general practitioners’ computers. It’s now used by every clinical laboratory and every GP in the UK.
We were one of the first groups to use web technology to handle clinical information, and especially to link knowledge to specific information about a specific patient.
We also once identified a new disease in children.
And were the first to analyse milk from a giant panda: this is really important if you ever have to hand rear a cub.
