This is a deep question with lots of parts to it. I don’t think that I could answer this fully or with any confidence that my answer would be helpful without context. If you think that it will be good for your future, then great – that should be the main thing. I hope that whatever happens, it works well for you.

It depends on what you do while you’re here!
Any work you do abroad always boosts a CV. It shows you are happy to work in an unfamiliar environment and demonstrates that you can communicate effectively in another language.
It’s also important that you can demonstrate an enthusiasm for culture. This can range from visiting Museums to trying local cuisine. If you have a chance to attend a festival or find a Sunday Market I highly recommend going to those as well.

A simple way to put it; if you’re doing new things and making the most of your time, it will impress potential employers. Just saying you spent 4 months in the UK won’t leave an impression. Saying what you did/learned while you were abroad will have a lot more impact.

So, yes it will help your future if you work hard while you’re here!

      Great Question,

      Ryan

I think that depends on you. If it is something you want to do and you are interested in what you are going to the UK to do and feel like you will make the most of it then yes I think it will be a good opportunity. However, I don’t think travelling for a long or short term is for everyone. For me for example I know I would get very homesick and I don’t think I would be able to make the most of a situation like that and for that reason it is not something I have looked into completing. I think you need to be very honest with your reasons for why and any worries you might have. If possible talk to others that have done similar and how it was for them. Best of luck in whatever you choose 🙂
