Iām a simulation engineer focussing on manufacturing processes for composite materials. I did a PhD on finite element modelling of composites for dynamics, developing aĀ numerical model for multi-layered materials that include damping and manufacturing defects such as fibre deviation.

Studying, simulating and making sense of plots and numbers

I spend most days creating models and interpreting their results. It is not always straight forward so I have to study quite a lot to fully understand the physics of what I am trying to repreduce in my model.
There is always somthing new to learn and discover and no day is the same!
