I live in Suffolk where I’m always running or cycling. On weekends, I go on trips with my partner to go rock climbing in the Peak District, or inside if it’s raining! 🙁 I used to play guitar in a band where we played around Manchester and I still enjoy making music.

I look at wheat plants. Wheat is used to make loads of things you eat all the time like bread, pastries, biscuits, and of course – Weetabix! I look at lots of wheat in fields and choose the best, strongest wheat. Then I mix the really good wheat plants together to make even better wheat!
Also, wheat gets diseases just like you might get a cold or chickenpox. I try and pick the wheat that won’t get diseases to help keep it strong and healthy.

My Typical Day:
Walking around a field in the sunshine and looking at wheat plants.

In summer, I walk around lots of different wheat plants and look at every one. They are all different. Some have hairs, some are bald! Some are tall, some are short. Some get lots of diseases and some don’t get any diseases at all. There are so many different wheat plants and I have to try to pick the best ones.
I spend most of my time writing down what I think about each wheat plant – whether I like it or not. Here is a picture of one of the many fields of wheat that I walk around:
