During my time at University, I became interested in the energy sector and particularly in the company I now work for: National Grid. So after I graduated and had spent some time volunteering, I set out to join them through their graduate programme. I ended up in this specific role slightly by change as I originally applied to the electricity side of the business but a snowy day resulted in my interviewing for gas roles instead and I’m really glad it worked out that way as I find it really interesting!
