• Question: what were the most fun particles to smash together?

      At the Large Hadron Collider (the biggest particle smasher in the world!), we mainly smash together protons. Protons are great to smash together since we can get them easily (for example from water) and they let us achieve very high energy collisions! I might be a bit biased, but I have to say protons 😉
