I live in Torfaen, Wales, with my partner but I’m originally from Falkirk in Scotland, we have lots of fish in an overgrown fish tank. I love marshmallows and can do a pretty good impression of Stitch from Lilo and Stitch. I love science and have a whole collection of “kitchen science” experiments that i love to do with my nephews when I’m back in Scotland.

I work for a charity called the Marine Conservation Society, my role is to make sure that fishing in the UK and the EU is done in a way that does as little damage to the environment as possible and to make sure there are plenty of fish left in the sea. To do this I work with the UK governments and the EU commission and parliament to change and put in place strong laws to protect our seas.
-
My Typical Day:
Lots of writing documents about protecting our seas – and a lot of travelling all over the EU.
