      In my job as a spacecraft engineer, I worked with teams of people to design spacecraft. My role was to work out how to keep everything at the right temperature (not too hot, nor too cold).

      I’m not really a designer in the sense that I create models or design new things that you can hold etc. I do a lot of programming and analysis, so I have created algorithms to get the information that’s useful from data we have and design/created some computational models and a web application that will help in the future to re-design prosthetics.

    I graduated as a mechanical engineer engineering in the late 90’s. Since then I have designed, tested and develop mini car doors, an aortic stent graft, neurological catheter systems, machine tool probes, offshore equipment for laying tonnes of sub- aquatic pipe and cable and now I working on hips and knees implants!
